Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alessandro Mandrak started the match with the kick off. After 12 played minutes Várzea F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Neves. If Gonzalo Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Ursino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Várzea F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Barreto. 24 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Osoitz came free, but Romeu Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Várzea F.C.'s Alessandro Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romulo Ursino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Luiz Guilherme Barreto scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romulo Ursino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Várzea F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute Luiz Guilherme Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Ursino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesar Boniel made in the 60th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gonzalo Oliverios immediately put the ball in play. In the 61st minute, Alessandro Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeu Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliverio Mazo in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Barreto in the 65th minute of play forced FMArgentina's goalkeeper Romulo Ursino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Luiz Guilherme Barreto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romulo Ursino. The goal made the score 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Várzea F.C.'s Alessandro Mandrak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romulo Ursino. That made the score 0-4 after 78 minutes of play. In the 86th match minute, Várzea F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Koehler to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FMArgentina's Romulo Ursino got control of the ball when Luiz Guilherme Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romulo Ursino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Várzea F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
