The supporters of CLATHU booed when El Ridiculo Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Abechuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Aprígio Tomé managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLATHU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aprígio Tomé was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gualterio Fonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, El Ridiculo Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mingo came free, but Gualterio Fonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Mikelar made a kick off. Emanuel Mingos short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Gualterio Fonso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gualterio Fonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute, Clodoveo Clementi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. CLATHU's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
