Alin Partenadze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Enrico De Tommasi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Anthony Tristezza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th match minute, Sao Brasola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Kane to maneuver through the defense. Alin Partenskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sao Brasola's Arturo Cirelli in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Alinborger's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Cirelli during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sao Brasola getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Arturo Cirelli hit a great ball. Nae Hodorog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alin Partenskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nae Hodorog stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Alinborger's Ernest Stârcea got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 57 played minutes Sao Brasola got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Granata. Enrico De Tommasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Partenskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th match minute, FC Alinborger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Goicea to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes FC Alinborger got a freekick which was hit by Alin Partenskiy. 67 minutes into the match, Arturo Cirelli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Alinborger's Alin Partenadze. Alin Partenadze was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Sao Brasola defense, Nae Hodorog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrico De Tommasi. The Sao Brasola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrico De Tommasi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nae Hodorog in the 74th minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Enrico De Tommasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes Sao Brasola got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Cirelli. Alin Partenskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrico De Tommasi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sao Brasola defense, Nae Hodorog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrico De Tommasi. The Sao Brasola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrico De Tommasi should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Alinborger's Alin Partenskiy got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Partenskiy came free, but Enrico De Tommasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sao Brasola players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
