Anthony Tristezza hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Charles Överman made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Attilio Granata sent off a good shot on target. If Fausto Consalvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fausto Consalvi kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sao Brasola's Alberigo Giuliani got a free kick in the 21st minute. Björn Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Fausto Consalvi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Charles Överman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anthony Tristezza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fausto Consalvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrico De Tommasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Lindmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hudiksvalls United's Ian Ekblom got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A hard shot 36 in the game by Fausto Consalvi from a close distance when the talented Charles Överman managed to make a qualified save. Hudiksvalls United's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Consalvi in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Överman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Holger Vinström made the kick off in the second half. Fausto Consalvi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Guerrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Överman having to interfere. Fausto Consalvi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charles Överman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Consalvi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fausto Consalvi came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Sao Brasola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Consalvi couldn't finish the play. After 64 minutes, Fausto Consalvi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hudiksvalls United's Charles Överman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 69 minutes, Attilio Granata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sao Brasola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attilio Granata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Fausto Consalvi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Överman was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Enrico De Tommasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Lindmark in the 72nd minute of the match. Fausto Consalvi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Consalvi in the 78th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Charles Överman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Didier Paták got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fausto Consalvi scored 2-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Överman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Consalvi came free, but Charles Överman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Consalvi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Charles Överman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
