Spectators: 7446 (Terracing: 5586, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Jonny Söderman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Gnesta Oilers's Sven-Åke Gadd seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sven-Åke Gadd the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gnesta Oilers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sven-Åke Gadd had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Ruzicki in the 9th minute of play forced Gnesta Oilers's goalkeeper Gösta Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Radomiak Radom's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Jaworski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sakarias Hellbom. A collision led to Radomiak Radom getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ignacy Ochylski hit a great ball. Jonny Söderman hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gösta Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Pirlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Zula Ziemba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Bergqvist having to interfere. If Zula Ziemba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Henriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Jaworski made a huge save. Andrea Pirlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Bergqvist having to interfere. Zdzislaw Jaworski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Söderman in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Radomiak Radom's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Jaworski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Henriksson. Zdzislaw Jaworski came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Gnesta Oilers's Sakarias Hellbom. But to his dismay, Sakarias Hellbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

The wind increased when Andrea Pirlo made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Radomiak Radom's goal looked a bit too open when Sakarias Hellbom came free, but Zdzislaw Jaworski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Gnesta Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Hellbom to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Sakarias Hellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Jaworski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomiak Radom's Zdzislaw Jaworski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakarias Hellbom in the 65th minute of play. Zdzislaw Jaworski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakarias Hellbom in the 67th minute of the match. Wieslaw Indyk might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gösta Bergqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wieslaw Indyk ran back to his position shaking his head. Szczepan Ruzicki struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gösta Bergqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Radomiak Radom. Tomas Henriksson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Gösta Bergqvist made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Zula Ziemba sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th match minute, Gnesta Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rikard Östlund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Ruzicki in the 84th minute of play forced Gnesta Oilers's goalkeeper Gösta Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zula Ziemba kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Andrea Pirlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gösta Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Ruzicki in the 93rd minute of the match. Radomiak Radom were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
