An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian de Lara in the 19th minute of play forced Real Brasília FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Erivaldo Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Danilo Branco got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Ricardinho Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Santo Amaro AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Montenegro couldn't finish the play. The referee ignored Santo Amaro AC's protests and gave Ricardinho Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Santo Amaro AC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jean Arantes hit a great ball. Erivaldo Freire came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Santo Amaro AC's Diguinho Ortiz. But to his dismay, Diguinho Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Erivaldo Freire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardinho Montenegro went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After 78 minutes of play Santo Amaro AC's Ricardinho Montenegro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Vito Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vito Soeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Real Brasília FC - DMZ booed when Santo Amaro AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Brasília FC - DMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Santo Amaro AC.
