Eusébio Albuquerque made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Baturhan Suhan sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Santo Amaro AC booed when Hatayspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hulusi Hacıbeyoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Montenegro in the 55th minute of play forced Hatayspor's goalkeeper Cabbar Özbilgin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Ahmet Gündüz Yesari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıfat İsmail in the 57th minute of play forced Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Eusébio Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
