The Santo Amaro AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusébio Albuquerque should have stopped the shot. Valdemar Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Eusébio Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Minh Banana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Geovani Linares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos da Bahia Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santo Amaro AC the free kick. Geovani Linares hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lisa Simpson made a kick off. Jacinto Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Soeiro in the 50th minute of the match. Eusébio Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Minh Banana in the 56th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Minh Banana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Santos da Bahia Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Montenegro came free, but Jacinto Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Eusébio Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisa Simpson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisa Simpson in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio Albuquerque saved Santo Amaro AC from getting behind. Santos da Bahia Fc's Jacinto Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Montenegro in the 73rd minute of play. Santos da Bahia Fc played a much better game than Santo Amaro AC and deserved their victory. The Santo Amaro AC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
