The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Hori in the 5th minute of play forced Tequileros FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes, Modesto Gines mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATLETICO TOSODELMA and the Tequileros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, ATLETICO TOSODELMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Gines to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Hori in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Lisandro Ascencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATLETICO TOSODELMA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tequileros FC the free kick. A collision led to ATLETICO TOSODELMA getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lisandro Ascencio hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Roman Elia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tequileros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Elia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Cisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tequileros FC's Epifanio Fernandez in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Tequileros FC's protests and gave Arsenio Fidensio a yellow card for diving instead. Arsenio Fidensio hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ATLETICO TOSODELMA's zone, Epifanio Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Cisco came out of the goal and Epifanio Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Modesto Gines got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Modesto Gines off the ground. The supporters of Tequileros FC booed when ATLETICO TOSODELMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Gines didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Fidensio in the 26th minute of play forced ATLETICO TOSODELMA's goalkeeper Jesus Cisco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Hori in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Alejo Hori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, ATLETICO TOSODELMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Enmanuel to maneuver through the defense. Epifanio Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Cisco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Jesus Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, ATLETICO TOSODELMA's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Fernandez came free, but Jesus Cisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 49thth minute of the game Arsenio Fidensio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Jesus Cisco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Epifanio Fernandez to make the kick off. Nicolas Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Mederi in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Claudio Enmanuel got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Tequileros FC's Nicanor Mikelats got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jesus Cisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Fidensio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Epifanio Fernandez got free with Jesus Cisco in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 played minutes Tequileros FC got a freekick which was hit by Tony Kroos. After having played for 76 minutes, Alejo Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATLETICO TOSODELMA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Hori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 played minutes ATLETICO TOSODELMA got a freekick which was hit by Hector Gaueko. 80 minutes into the match, Tequileros FC's Tony Kroos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Cisco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arsenio Fidensio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tony Kroos fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tequileros FC's protests and gave Tony Kroos a yellow card for diving instead. Tony Kroos kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Joaquin Mederi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ATLETICO TOSODELMA booed when Tequileros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Perpinya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejo Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Mel having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, ATLETICO TOSODELMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Hori to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute Arsenio Fidensio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Cisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Fidensio got free with Jesus Cisco in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolas Mel came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Gaspar Iratzeder. But to his dismay, Gaspar Iratzeder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tequileros FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ATLETICO TOSODELMA.
