Spectators: 7624 (Terracing: 5719, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 152) Kronan's Anders Vennersten started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson got control of the ball when Bernt Hellkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Åke Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Vennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Åke Gustafsson came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Kronan's Bernt Hellkvist. But to his dismay, Bernt Hellkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Gert Håkansson fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ghost Hunters's protests and gave Gert Håkansson a yellow card for diving instead. Gert Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Vennersten in the 20th minute of play. Bernt Hellkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Vennersten was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Kronan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Åke Gustafsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernt Hellkvist in the 33rd minute. Brian Glanselius kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Åke Gustafsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Vennersten in the 37th minute of the match. Åke Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Tinglöv, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Brian Glanselius hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Anders Vennersten struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Åke Gustafsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kronan. The crowd rose to their feet as Kronan's Anders Vennersten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Åke Gustafsson. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bo Kleen to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Vennersten in the 57th minute of play forced Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Åke Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Kleen got free with Harald Myr in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Kronan's Anders Vennersten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Åke Gustafsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Kronan's Jarl Lindström was substituted for Ola Nordin. Åke Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Vennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernt Hellkvist scored 6-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åke Gustafsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Åke Gustafsson came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kronan's Anders Vennersten. But to his dismay, Anders Vennersten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Åke Gustafsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Hellkvist in the 85th minute of play. Åke Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Österberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Nils-Emil Österberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Åke Gustafsson. Ghost Hunters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils-Emil Österberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Åke Gustafsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Vennersten in the 97th minute of play. Kronan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
