The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Kjell Eliasson got a free kick in the 7th minute. Evaristo Loi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Åke Gustafsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åke Gustafsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionisio Llanos in the 10th minute. Evaristo Loi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Åke Gustafsson made a huge save. In the 20th minute Bonifacio Mundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Larra charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Larra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Åke Gustafsson came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Eibar 09-12-18's Bonifacio Mundo. But to his dismay, Bonifacio Mundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Justino Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Kleen in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, one of Ghost Hunters:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ghost Hunters. The referee gave Eibar 09-12-18 a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elpidio Efren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson. 2-0. Åke Gustafsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Mundo in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Eibar 09-12-18 made a substitution. Christian Cai replaced Evaristo Loi. Julio Paul made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dionisio Llanos however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Adam Svanér got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes Ghost Hunters got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Eliasson. Åke Gustafsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Mundo in the 61st minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Brian Glanselius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghost Hunters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eibar 09-12-18 the free kick. Brian Glanselius kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Bonifacio Mundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eibar 09-12-18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 71st minute, Bonifacio Mundo made a precise shot to the right of Åke Gustafsson. Ghost Hunters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After 75 minutes of play, Eibar 09-12-18's Bonifacio Mundo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Åke Gustafsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sven Bäckman kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Christian Cai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Åke Gustafsson. Ghost Hunters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Cai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 87 minutes into the game, Gert Håkansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghost Hunters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eibar 09-12-18 the free kick. The supporters of Eibar 09-12-18 booed when Ghost Hunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Åke Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Dionisio Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
