After 23 minutes, Julio Paul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eibar 09-12-18 and the FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Eibar 09-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Julio Paul. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Llanos in the 26th minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Mădălin Buzgar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mădălin Buzgar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Mundo in the 27th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Dionisio Llanos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 2-0 became the score in the 31st minute when Bonifacio Mundo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gaspar Salbatore kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Sorin Opincaru came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sorin Opincaru couldn't finish the play. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Eibar 09-12-18's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matei Ghionescu took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's corner Matei Ghionescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Justino Abadia quite easily take care of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Mundo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Eibar 09-12-18 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Elpidio Efren hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Dionisio Llanos notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Mădălin Buzgar. Mădălin Buzgar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sorin Opincaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Justino Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Mădălin Buzgar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Cai in the 73rd minute of play. Sandu Cândea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sorin Opincaru kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Bonifacio Mundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eibar 09-12-18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Mădălin Buzgar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Cai, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Mădălin Buzgar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Cai took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mădălin Buzgar. Mădălin Buzgar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Vlad Buhuș kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Mundo came free, but Mădălin Buzgar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
