Kazimierz Gardocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olympique Deleon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Kajetan Dlugi scored to the left of an out of position Jeremias Correia, making the score, 1-0. After 17 played minutes Olympique Deleon got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Paraense. Jeremias Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kajetan Dlugi in the 20th minute. Kazimierz Gardocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 minutes, Benjamin Paraense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympique Deleon and the INTER Sosnowiec players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, one of Olympique Deleon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olympique Deleon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Melo in the 33rd minute of play forced INTER Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Kazimierz Gardocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kazimierz Gardocki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luís Melo's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When Eurico Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Deleon's protests and gave Eurico Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Olympique Deleon got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Aguiar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kajetan Dlugi was the one to do the kick off. Jeremias Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Dlugi in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute Rafal Cempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan Cruijff who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Kazimierz Gardocki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of INTER Sosnowiec booed when Olympique Deleon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Kajetan Dlugi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER Sosnowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kajetan Dlugi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Olympique Deleon getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Tiaguinho de Carvalho hit a great ball. Jeremias Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajetan Dlugi in the 69th minute of play. Kazimierz Gardocki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kazimierz Gardocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Cruijff in the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Olympique Deleon's Johan Cruijff dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. After 88 played minutes Olympique Deleon got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Paraense. INTER Sosnowiec's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
