They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kajetan Dlugi made a kick off. Constantin-Maximilian Schwarzenegger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Szymon Puchlik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kazimierz Gardocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Arantes in the 78th minute of play. Claudinho Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Gardocki having to interfere. If Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazimierz Gardocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Arantes in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Matías Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. INTER Sosnowiec were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
