After 13 minutes of play, Olympique Deleon's Johan Cruijff made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Placido Mercurio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas Remigio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jeremias Correia firmly grabbed it by the left post. Placido Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Cruijff in the 19th minute of play. Jeremias Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Remigio in the 26th minute. Jeremias Correia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucas Remigio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Jeremias Correia was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Fulgencio Bieito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fulgencio Bieito really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Jeremias Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Remigio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Deleon's zone, Fulgencio Bieito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Correia came out of the goal and Fulgencio Bieito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Arnas hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute of the match, Lucas Remigio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeremias Correia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Jeremias Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Bieito in the 51st minute of play. After 53 played minutes Olympique Deleon got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Aguiar. Jeremias Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Remigio in the 54th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, La France FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Cruijff came free, but Placido Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luís Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Placido Mercurio made a huge save. Johan Cruijff might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Mercurio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johan Cruijff ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Olympique Deleon's Johan Cruijff ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Placido Mercurio. Placido Mercurio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Johan Cruijff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Deleon's supporters rose to their feet, but Johan Cruijff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Mercurio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Placido Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Cruijff, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Johan Cruijff took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Placido Mercurio to make any attempt to save it. 77 minutes into the game, Johan Cruijff recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Placido Mercurio. Johan Cruijff showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Augusto Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Olympique Deleon's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Remigio came free, but Jeremias Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to La France FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cayetano Camerino hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luís Melo got free with Placido Mercurio in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, La France FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Cruijff came free, but Placido Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Olympique Deleon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
