Kajetan Dlugi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rui Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. INTER Sosnowiec's Lech Luty got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Augusto Cosme during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of INTER Sosnowiec booed when Ceilândia Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kajetan Dlugi in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ceilândia Futebol Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
