After 14 played minutes Flamengo FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Leonidas. Flamengo FSCMZ's Luís Fábio Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Basajaun in the 16th minute of play. Leonides Barea hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Benjamin Igon kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Tiburcio Basajaun got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uriel Iratzeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Leonidas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Sven-Erik Harman notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Sportivo Quilmes's Uriel Iratzeder. Uriel Iratzeder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Club Sportivo Quilmes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Iratzeder should have stopped the shot. Uriel Iratzeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Leonidas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Xande Xande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Iratzeder having to interfere. If Sven-Erik Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Fábio Silveira made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Horacio Nisio sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Flamengo FSCMZ's Luís Fábio Silveira got control of the ball when Horacio Nisio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Sportivo Quilmes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
