Theofanis Marinakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Emilio Cid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tala Bosques del Jaure's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Fanis Kokkinopoulos scored to the left of an out of position Cosme Minguez, making the score, 1-1. Emilio Cid's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theofanis Marinakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes ΟΦΗ got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Kalkavouras. 26 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Cid came free, but Theofanis Marinakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ΟΦΗ's Theofanis Marinakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save ΟΦΗ from getting a goal against them.
