Theofanis Marinakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartosz Fink in the 3rd minute of the match. Pankracy Majczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofanis Marinakis having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Szymon Prosowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiktor Kornaszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Bartosz Fink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikos Kalkavouras might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marian Waselenczuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nikos Kalkavouras ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Giannis Tzanetos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Waselenczuk was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Theofanis Marinakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Ekipa Damcia's Pankracy Majczyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theofanis Marinakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Michalis Semos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, ΟΦΗ's Michalis Semos got a free kick in the 36th minute. Fotis Triantafyllopoulos hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Sebastian Skaradoski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Theofanis Marinakis skillfully saved the ball. When Nikos Kalkavouras fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΟΦΗ's protests and gave Nikos Kalkavouras a yellow card for diving instead. Nikos Kalkavouras hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartosz Fink in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theofanis Marinakis saved ΟΦΗ from getting behind. When Ekipa Damcia's Bartosz Fink in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ΟΦΗ's goalie prevented a goal. ΟΦΗ's Theofanis Marinakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Fink in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Tzanetos in the 46th minute of play forced Ekipa Damcia's goalkeeper Marian Waselenczuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartosz Fink to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ekipa Damcia's goalkeeper Marian Waselenczuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giannis Tzanetos. In the 55th minute, Fotis Triantafyllopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sakis Velakoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Theofanis Marinakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Kornaszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Michalis Semos charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michalis Semos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Michalis Semos hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, Fotis Triantafyllopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΟΦΗ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ekipa Damcia the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in ΟΦΗ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ekipa Damcia a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. Marian Waselenczuk was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Giannis Tzanetos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Giannis Tzanetos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 81 minutes into the game, Bartosz Fink cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Theofanis Marinakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Ekipa Damcia's Szymon Dombrowski got a free kick in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Michalis Semos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marian Waselenczuk, 2-2. ΟΦΗ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
