The shot was stopped by Tobiasz Klawke but with some difficulty. Theofanis Marinakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Pachucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wladyslaw Pachucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giannis Tzanetos in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobiasz Klawke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of ΟΦΗ booed when FC Kraków1983 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Zacharek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giannis Tzanetos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Nikos Kalkavouras recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tobiasz Klawke. Nikos Kalkavouras showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ΟΦΗ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
