The GÓRNIK PSZÓW fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when GÓRNIK PSZÓW's Mikolaj Marczyniec looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to GÓRNIK PSZÓW getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Edmund Wojtkiewicz hit a great ball. If Roch Prusinowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of GÓRNIK PSZÓW booed when IFK Kik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roch Prusinowski in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaj Örnberg saved IFK Kik from getting behind. Kaj Örnberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roch Prusinowski's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 20th match minute, GÓRNIK PSZÓW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slawomir Wielowiejski to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Alf Svartengren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Kik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Svartengren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Antoni Kaznocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Örnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Edmund Wojtkiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludwig Överman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Julian Czermak made a huge save. After 32 played minutes GÓRNIK PSZÓW got a freekick which was hit by Roch Prusinowski. In the 40th minute, Mikolaj Marczyniec made a precise shot to the right of Kaj Örnberg. IFK Kik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antoni Kaznocha was the one to do the kick off. Napoleon Gierasik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Kaj Örnberg made a huge save. The long shot by Damazy Rostow in the 55th minute really tested Kaj Örnberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoni Kaznocha got free with Kaj Örnberg in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kaj Örnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Prusinowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Fritz Ugla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to GÓRNIK PSZÓW getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Napoleon Gierasik hit a great ball. Kaj Örnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kryspin Loncki in the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, GÓRNIK PSZÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Svartengren came free, but Julian Czermak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaj Örnberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mikolaj Marczyniec showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 74 minute of play. Roch Prusinowski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Kaj Örnberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, IFK Kik's Börge Lidman got a free kick in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Antoni Kaznocha could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Kaj Örnberg however easily saved by the left post. Roch Prusinowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaj Örnberg having to make a save. Roch Prusinowski had several of the IFK Kik's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Kaj Örnberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Åke Lång during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GÓRNIK PSZÓW booed when IFK Kik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Lång didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roch Prusinowski struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Kaj Örnberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GÓRNIK PSZÓW. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GÓRNIK PSZÓW eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
