Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carlos Urre made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Remedios SC's Jean dos Santos got control of the ball when Zeledon Veremundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Jean dos Santos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zé Augusto Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquiles Lluques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Augusto Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco da Rocha came free, but Aquiles Lluques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Los Trip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Ferman to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Los Trip getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Mauro Ferman hit a great ball. After taking down the ball on Los Trip's corner Zeledon Veremundo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jean dos Santos quite easily take care of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Ruy came free, but Jean dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Francisco da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes Los Trip got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Grabiel. João Francisco da Rocha hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Zé Augusto Sena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aquiles Lluques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Mauro Ferman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 35 in the game by Fulgencio Arce from a close distance when the talented Jean dos Santos managed to make a qualified save. Remedios SC's players were relieved. Fulgencio Arce didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 35th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Fulgencio Arce ran dejectedly back to his position. Aquiles Lluques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Francisco da Rocha went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Los Trip's Aquiles Lluques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chivu Quintana in the 43rd minute of play. João Francisco da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Lluques having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Fulgencio Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Trip fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

Jean dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Urre, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58thth minute of the game Carlos Urre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Remedios SC's Jean dos Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jean dos Santos came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Trip's Carlos Urre. But to his dismay, Carlos Urre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Horácio Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horácio Galvão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Galvão. If Carlos Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Chivu Quintana. When Los Trip's Carlos Urre in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Remedios SC's goalie prevented a goal. If Carlos Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, João Francisco da Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Lluques. Los Trip's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Francisco da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Los Trip's zone, João Francisco da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Lluques came out of the goal and João Francisco da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chants of Remedios SC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Los Trip had held the ball for most of the match.
