In the 20th minute Iker Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Umberto Proença had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Lluques. Los Trip's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Proença was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Carlos Urre scored 2-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Eduardo Rossi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goalkeeper Aquiles Lluques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jardel Mula. In the 35th match minute, Los Trip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Guedes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquiles Lluques having to make a save. Aquiles Lluques made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Umberto Proença sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the game, Leon Gilesindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Trip's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coice de Mula the free kick. The supporters of Coice de Mula booed when Los Trip was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Gilesindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jardel Mula took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aquiles Lluques. Los Trip's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Urre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Coice de Mula's Luís Eduardo Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Urre in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Jardel Mula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Los Trip's Iker Ruy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Eduardo Rossi. Luís Eduardo Rossi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Carlos Urre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Eduardo Rossi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Eugênio Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugênio Travassos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Eugênio Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Coice de Mula defense, Carlos Urre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Eduardo Rossi. The Coice de Mula fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Eduardo Rossi should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Urre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Eduardo Rossi. That made the score 3-5 in the 84 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Coice de Mula's Jardel Mula got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Fulgencio Arce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Eduardo Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-6. When the match was over Los Trip could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Coice de Mula throughout the match.
