After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Erling Fredriksson got a free kick in the 30th minute. Abdulkerim Sebat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Johnsson having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Ramazan Ersan came free, but Holger Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arif Gaffar Malgır scored 1-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Holger Johnsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Protegéerna's Holger Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramazan Ersan in the 54th minute of play. Arif Gaffar Malgır kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Anatolia FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bayındır Mehmet Okergun hit a great ball. Anatolia FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
