Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Zandarin FC's Célio Leme started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedrinho Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cebo Morejon in the 12th minute of the match. Walmir Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Cordeal Pantojas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Aquiles Saavedra got a free kick in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Walmir Schmidt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cordeal Pantojas, 1-1. In the 28th minute Walmir Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordeal Pantojas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Cebo Morejon hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Aquiles Saavedra in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Zandarin FC's Erivaldo Queirós. Cebo Morejon got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Cebo Morejon kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Schmidt in the 45th minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Cordeal Pantojas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 51st match minute, Club Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarrol Tama to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Walmir Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordeal Pantojas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliazar Salantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 57 minutes, Dorival da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zandarin FC and the Club Olimpia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Dorival da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Club Olimpia defense, Walmir Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cordeal Pantojas. The Club Olimpia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cordeal Pantojas should have stopped the shot. Erivaldo Queirós hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Carioca made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Richard Fantini immediately put the ball in play. Isias Gorbin hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Walmir Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cordeal Pantojas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cordarrol Tama was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. Cordeal Pantojas came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Zandarin FC's Célio Leme. But to his dismay, Célio Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Zandarin FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
