The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Foro Constante put in a rough tackle. Cordeal Pantojas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Noe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santutxo Casquete charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santutxo Casquete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Santutxo Casquete hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cebo Morejon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
