Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Célio Leme started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Börge Arenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holger Johnsson came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Zandarin FC's Célio Leme. But to his dismay, Célio Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Schmidt in the 10th minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Holger Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Malmberg charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anders Malmberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Anders Malmberg hit a great ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Roy Bennet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zandarin FC's Pedrinho Severo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26th play minutes Roy Bennet shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Pedrinho Severo and just under the crossbar into goal. When Protegéerna's Roy Bennet in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zandarin FC's goalie prevented a goal. José Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Kristoffer Kock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Protegéerna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zandarin FC the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Protegéerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristoffer Kock to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo Queirós to maneuver through the defense. After 40 minutes of play, Protegéerna's Roy Bennet made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrinho Severo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Holger Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy Bennet made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Roy Bennet made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho Severo. Zandarin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The supporters of Protegéerna booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Roy Bennet notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Zandarin FC's Pedrinho Severo. Pedrinho Severo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedrinho Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristoffer Kock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Fantini hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Protegéerna made a substitution. Bo-Erik Springfält replaced Kristoffer Kock. 70 minutes into the game, Roy Bennet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedrinho Severo. Roy Bennet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Protegéerna's Charlie Apelquist was substituted for Alexander Lundström. Bo-Erik Springfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Pedrinho Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Zandarin FC's Pedrinho Severo got control of the ball when Roy Bennet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Pedrinho Severo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 88 minutes, Reynaldo Carioca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zandarin FC and the Protegéerna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reynaldo Carioca hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Nogueira to maneuver through the defense.
