An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 53rd minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Holger Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Olof Löfkvist got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Carlos Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Protegéerna's Holger Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Koldobika in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Roy Gallberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Sal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
