The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Maureo Magdalena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halcon Sport 69's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maureo Magdalena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Torekov's Ernst Strömberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tabby Leceta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maureo Magdalena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kristian Albom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torekov's Kristian Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maureo Magdalena in the 16th minute of play. Kristian Albom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maureo Magdalena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulf Ersman's late challenge caught a Halcon Sport 69's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulf Ersman helped the player get up and apologised. Ulf Ersman hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Halcon Sport 69's Tabby Leceta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Halcon Sport 69 from getting a goal against them. Kristian Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maureo Magdalena in the 26th minute of play. Torekov's Kristian Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maureo Magdalena in the 28th minute of play. Bermund Bacardi's late challenge caught a Torekov's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bermund Bacardi helped the player get up and apologised. Bermund Bacardi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Maureo Magdalena took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristian Albom. Kristian Albom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Torekov's zone, Maureo Magdalena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Albom came out of the goal and Maureo Magdalena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maureo Magdalena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristian Albom having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Maureo Magdalena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halcon Sport 69's supporters rose to their feet, but Maureo Magdalena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Albom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tabby Leceta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Ersman, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Ersman in the 48th minute of play forced Halcon Sport 69's goalkeeper Tabby Leceta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulf Ersman was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Torekov's Sebastian Utter got a free kick in the 55th minute. Tabby Leceta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Ersman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute of the match, Maureo Magdalena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kristian Albom was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 65th minute, Halcon Sport 69's Maureo Magdalena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristian Albom. Kristian Albom yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Torekov's Kristian Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maureo Magdalena in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Halcon Sport 69's Bermund Bacardi got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Halcon Sport 69 got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy Montero. Ulf Ersman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tabby Leceta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Halcon Sport 69's zone, Ernst Strömberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tabby Leceta came out of the goal and Ernst Strömberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd match minute, Torekov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Utter to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Torekov's goalkeeper Kristian Albom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Ernst Strömberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maureo Magdalena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kristian Albom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halcon Sport 69's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
