In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind ⚽RAE⚽'s goalkeeper Victor Andriescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan-Niclas Ebus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Victor Andriescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Julius-Lasse Eichenauer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Poli Timisoara's Robin Wörns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Paveliuc in the 15th minute of play. Jan-Niclas Ebus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Andriescu having to make a save. Robin Wörns came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by ⚽RAE⚽'s Damian Oneț. But to his dismay, Damian Oneț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. ⚽RAE⚽'s Victor Andriescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save ⚽RAE⚽ from getting a goal against them. After 34 minutes of play, ⚽RAE⚽'s Damian Oneț made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robin Wörns was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damian Oneț hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

After a defensive mix-up in ⚽RAE⚽'s zone, Torben Scherrer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Andriescu came out of the goal and Torben Scherrer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torben Scherrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, Uwe Kuinke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Victor Andriescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Poli Timisoara's Robin Wörns got control of the ball when Damian Oneț tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Oneț got free with Robin Wörns in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Andriescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torben Scherrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes of play, ⚽RAE⚽'s Damian Oneț made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After a rather tough play, Poli Timisoara's Uwe Kuinke got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
