Poli Timisoara's Julius-Lasse Eichenauer got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Szymon Piatek during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Szymon Piatek got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Jan-Niclas Ebus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogumil Paprotny scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robin Wörns, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Paprotny in the 28th minute of play forced Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Robin Wörns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Beniamin Niedziela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Robin Wörns was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bogumil Paprotny in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robin Wörns prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute Gocław Wilga Warszawa were awarded a corner. Roman Czerny went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Roman Czerny almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Poli Timisoara's Robin Wörns did a great save. A collision led to Gocław Wilga Warszawa getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Szymon Piatek hit a great ball. Szymon Piatek kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Poli Timisoara defense, Bogumil Paprotny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robin Wörns. The Poli Timisoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robin Wörns should have stopped the shot. Gocław Wilga Warszawa made a substitution. Boleslaw Bugno replaced Borys Niedzwiecki. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Kryspin Makowski was substituted for Waclaw Misiorowski. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Julius-Lasse Eichenauer made the kick off in the second half. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Lech Wolczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torben Scherrer in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Beniamin Niedziela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robin Wörns. Robin Wörns yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Gocław Wilga Warszawa were furious when Patryk Kicia was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 68 minutes into the game, one of Gocław Wilga Warszawa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 76 minutes, Kryspin Makowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kryspin Makowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Julius-Lasse Eichenauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Uwe Kuinke notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Lech Wolczewski. Lech Wolczewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 94 minutes of play, Poli Timisoara's Julius-Lasse Eichenauer made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lech Wolczewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Poli Timisoara's zone, Wit Bugajski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Wörns came out of the goal and Wit Bugajski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Poli Timisoara getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Christoph Jurk hit a great ball. Gocław Wilga Warszawa played a much better game than Poli Timisoara and deserved their victory. The Poli Timisoara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
