DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Emiliano Juvenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Kolbe in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Bueno came free, but Emiliano Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Jaroslaw Kolbe in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The DeportivoIndependienteMDP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Juvenal should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaroslaw Kolbe in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Juvenal saved DeportivoIndependienteMDP from getting behind. Jaroslaw Kolbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Emiliano Juvenal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Alvarenga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emiliano Juvenal came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredo Alvarenga slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 44th minute. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Jorge Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When Emílio Bueno got free in front of the goal in the 52nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Emiliano Juvenal was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 56th minute Jaroslaw Kolbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Juvenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Juvenal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emílio Bueno went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 61 played minutes DeportivoIndependienteMDP got a freekick which was hit by Dante Ramos. A collision led to Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. João Paulo Vander hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Danilo Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Aquilino Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Juvenal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Kolbe, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. booed when DeportivoIndependienteMDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Kolbe came free, but Emiliano Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frichoso Ondovilla kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Albertinho de Andrade was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Emiliano Juvenal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Kolbe, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Alfredo Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Orixe kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, DeportivoIndependienteMDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Kismi to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
