A collision led to DeportivoIndependienteMDP getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Saul Kismi hit a great ball. Baldomero Semeno struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Emiliano Juvenal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlethico Talleres. Saul Kismi's late challenge caught a Club Atlethico Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Kismi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Saul Kismi got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Baldomero Semeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Papo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes Club Atlethico Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Semeno. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Orixe during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to DeportivoIndependienteMDP getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Narciso Orixe hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Club Atlethico Talleres's Emiliano Juvenal threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tiburcio Papo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emiliano Juvenal was a little too slow when Tiburcio Papo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tiburcio Papo 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. After a rather tough play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Narciso Orixe got a free kick in the 45th minute. Baldomero Semeno struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Emiliano Juvenal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlethico Talleres. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Bastiaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Club Atlethico Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Orlandus. 55 minutes into the game, Club Atlethico Talleres's Mauro Cordareo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emiliano Juvenal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Emiliano Juvenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Cordareo in the 62nd minute of the match. Tiburcio Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Juvenal having to interfere. Tiburcio Papo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Emiliano Juvenal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlethico Talleres. After 74 played minutes DeportivoIndependienteMDP got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Haitz. In the 75th minute, Jorge Villagra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Manuel Hibai threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Narciso Orixe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Tiburcio Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Papo in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Juvenal saved DeportivoIndependienteMDP from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Baldomero Semeno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Juvenal was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Atlethico Talleres fully deserved thier win.
