When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Emanuel Băieșu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gil de Medeiros. Emanuel Băieșu took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil de Medeiros. Gil de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Onaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Stiinta-Univ.'s Matei Onaca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Manuel Burdujan replaced Emanuel Băieșu. 52 minutes into the match, Matei Onaca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gil de Medeiros, 0-6. When Matei Onaca came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Stiinta-Univ. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matei Onaca couldn't finish the play. When Leonardo Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nautilus's protests and gave Leonardo Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Nautilus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Furtado to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Nautilus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stiinta-Univ.:s goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Stiinta-Univ. fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Stiinta-Univ.'s Matei Onaca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 74th minute, Manuel Burdujan made a precise shot to the right of Gil de Medeiros. Nautilus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. When Matei Onaca came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Stiinta-Univ. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matei Onaca couldn't finish the play. Manuel Burdujan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil de Medeiros having to interfere. If Matei Onaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil de Medeiros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matei Onaca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 90 minute of play. Gil de Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Manuel Burdujan sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Stiinta-Univ. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nautilus throughout the match.
