Francana's zone, Anthony Doris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Trigo came out of the goal and Anthony Doris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Adolfo Leite who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Concetto Bani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edoardo Flocco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Telmo Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calenzano's Fedele Marcelli got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Concetto Bani made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Válbson Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. Cido Vinhas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Edoardo Flocco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calenzano's supporters rose to their feet, but Edoardo Flocco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when Calenzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Doris didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Adolfo Leite struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Concetto Bani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A. Francana. Cido Vinhas took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Concetto Bani. Concetto Bani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Edoardo Flocco might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Trigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edoardo Flocco ran back to his position shaking his head. Telmo Trigo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Calenzano's Edoardo Flocco shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Calenzano getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dario Porcu hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Fedele Marcelli made the kick off in the second half. Edoardo Flocco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Telmo Trigo made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Adolfo Leite in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Concetto Bani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute Válbson Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Bani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthony Doris charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthony Doris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Anthony Doris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Calenzano booed when A.A. Francana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anfilogino Brillante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Telmo Trigo having to make a save. After having played for 67 minutes, Anfilogino Brillante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calenzano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anfilogino Brillante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save A.A. Francana from getting a goal against them. Válbson Soeiro's late challenge caught a Calenzano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válbson Soeiro helped the player get up and apologised. 77 minutes into the match, Edoardo Flocco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telmo Trigo, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Attilio Sacchi got a free kick in the 79th minute. Concetto Bani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Adolfo Leite in the 81st minute of the match. A.A. Francana's Evandro Mangueira pulled a muscle in his leg after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A.A. Francana made a substitution. Luís Eduardo Donato replaced Evandro Mangueira. Carmine Panella hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Calenzano's Fedele Marcelli got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Armandinho Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo got control of the ball when Fedele Marcelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calenzano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
