The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Diego Txurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Momparte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Sebastian De la Rosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Laurgain. Capioviciño's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian De la Rosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Capioviciño's Segundo Gaspard got a free kick in the 10th minute. Sebastian De la Rosa struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Bernardo Laurgain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GOMEZ F.C.. Capioviciño's Bernardo Laurgain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian De la Rosa in the 20th minute of play. Panos Stavrelis kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alarcón Miranda got free with Bernardo Laurgain in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugenio Almaguer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute of the match, Stalin Arrazola tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernardo Laurgain saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Capioviciño booed when GOMEZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Ursueguia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Laurgain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian De la Rosa in the 42nd minute. Bernardo Laurgain was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastian De la Rosa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian De la Rosa to make the kick off. Alarcón Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Capioviciño got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Gaspard. In the 67th minute Stalin Arrazola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Laurgain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valery Monedero in the 68th minute of play forced Capioviciño's goalkeeper Bernardo Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Laurgain came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by GOMEZ F.C.'s Txindoki Capistrano. But to his dismay, Txindoki Capistrano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stalin Arrazola in the 72nd minute of play forced Capioviciño's goalkeeper Bernardo Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Capioviciño's goal looked a bit too open when Valery Monedero came free, but Bernardo Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Txurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the GOMEZ F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
