In the 3rd minute, Sixto Gurutz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavius Izbașa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciriaco Abaunza in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavius Izbașa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viola Invest's Flavius Izbașa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Espiridion in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Viola Invest's Cornel Stoicea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristo Gau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cristo Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Stoicea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Cornel Stoicea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristo Gau. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 22nd minute Sixto Gurutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavius Izbașa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Viola Invest getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Florin Bălașa hit a great ball. Viola Invest's Flavius Izbașa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Espiridion in the 24th minute of play. Luigi Bosca hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Cristo Gau was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Florin Răducioiu. After 30 played minutes Viola Invest got a freekick which was hit by Florin Răducioiu. Florin Răducioiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Armanca charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Armanca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Viola Invest got a freekick which was hit by Victor Armanca. Sixto Gurutz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorato Olayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavius Izbașa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Gurutz in the 44th minute of play. If Cornel Stoicea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornel Stoicea to make the kick off. Guns And Roses were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Viola Invest's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Honorato Olayo took the corner. Flavius Izbașa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Abaunza in the 63rd minute of play. Joel Espiridion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Guns And Roses's Flavius Izbașa threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Espiridion, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Guns And Roses's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Honorato Olayo in the 68th minute. Guns And Roses's Honorato Olayo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Flavius Izbașa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Flavius Izbașa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With his leg Flavius Izbașa managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Guns And Roses's Sixto Gurutz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Jorrin in the 81st minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper Flavius Izbașa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goalkeeper Flavius Izbașa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorato Olayo. A collision led to Guns And Roses getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Luigi Bosca hit a great ball. When Ciriaco Abaunza came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Guns And Roses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Abaunza couldn't finish the play. Guns And Roses's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Viola Invest had won, even though Guns And Roses had held more of the ball.
