Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristo Gau was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Oliver Hutchings. Cristo Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dom Breckin in the 7th minute of play. When Dom Breckin fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corinthians FC's protests and gave Dom Breckin a yellow card for diving instead. Dom Breckin kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The Corinthians FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Corinthians FC's Oliver Hutchings looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 14th minute, Damaso Casomiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Sixto Gurutz made a precise shot to the right of David Bettney. Corinthians FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Gurutz in the 19th minute of play forced Corinthians FC's goalkeeper David Bettney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Hutchings, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Neil Rigg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corinthians FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Sixto Gurutz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Corinthians FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Gurutz came free, but David Bettney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Corinthians FC got a freekick which was hit by Dom Breckin. Joel Espiridion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Bettney having to interfere. A collision led to Corinthians FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Damaso Casomiro hit a great ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Sixto Gurutz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guns And Roses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Gurutz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Guns And Roses booed when Corinthians FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dom Breckin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 74th minute Maximino Huly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bettney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Gau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After having played for 85 minutes, Neil Rigg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corinthians FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neil Rigg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
