Bernardo Laurgain came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by MEXACOMX's Belchior Conde. But to his dismay, Belchior Conde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th match minute, Capioviciño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Benitez to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, MEXACOMX's Belchior Conde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Laurgain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Esteve Nastasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrício Fernandes having to interfere. If Nuno Candeias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Txurio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Patrício Fernandes made a huge save. Diego Txurio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 32nd playminute. Patrício Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Txurio in the 35th minute of play. Nuno Candeias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Capioviciño getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Esteve Nastasio hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteve Nastasio got free with Patrício Fernandes in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Capioviciño's Cristobal Venerando got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Bernardo Laurgain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Gusmão in the 57th minute of the match. Bernardo Laurgain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belchior Conde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Damião Sobral notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Capioviciño's Bernardo Laurgain. Bernardo Laurgain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damião Sobral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Bernardo Laurgain made a huge save. Bernardo Laurgain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Candeias, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes Capioviciño got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Havier. In the 69th minute Belchior Conde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Laurgain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Belchior Conde kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernardo Laurgain. That made the score 1-5 in the 74 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belchior Conde in the 86th minute of play forced Capioviciño's goalkeeper Bernardo Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damião Sobral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Bernardo Laurgain made a huge save. During the 90th minute of the match Manuel Havier completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Manuel Havier a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 91st minute, Manuel Havier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Capioviciño's Bernardo Laurgain couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Alexandrino Junqueira shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 91st minute, 1-7. Panos Stavrelis kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, MEXACOMX's Alexandrino Junqueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Laurgain. Bernardo Laurgain yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. When the match was over MEXACOMX could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Capioviciño throughout the match.
