Valery Monedero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Gaufred having to interfere. Eustaquio Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Momparte having to interfere. Alarcón Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victorino Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Langarica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Gaufred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian De la Rosa in the 24th minute of the match. Piratas FC's Dalmacio Rik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Momparte in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Victorino Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian De la Rosa in the 40th minute of play. When Sebastian De la Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the GOMEZ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian De la Rosa couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, David Ursueguia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Piratas FC's Dalmacio Rik quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nunez Hernandez was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd play minute Sebastian De la Rosa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Victorino Gaufred. 0-1. After a rather tough play, GOMEZ F.C.'s Valery Monedero got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txindoki Capistrano in the 60th minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alarcón Miranda took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Gaufred. Victorino Gaufred dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 65 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Maria. Sebastian De la Rosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victorino Gaufred came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian De la Rosa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Juárez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorino Gaufred. Piratas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Alberto Juárez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Nestor Illart hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Piratas FC defense, Alarcón Miranda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Gaufred. The Piratas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Gaufred should have stopped the shot. Valery Monedero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Gaufred having to interfere. Piratas FC's Celedonio Argina was substituted for Virgilio Lobo. Angel Isusko's late challenge caught a GOMEZ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Isusko helped the player get up and apologised. Alarcón Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Victorino Gaufred made a huge save. GOMEZ F.C. played a much better game than Piratas FC and deserved their victory. The Piratas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
