After having played for 20 minutes, Oliver Hutchings managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Hutchings was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During this time Roma's players had a chance to rest. Saul Rodas tried in the 28th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Victorino Gaufred a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. Victorino Gaufred made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neil Rigg in the 31st minute. Dom Breckin scored 4-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorino Gaufred, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Roma were the better team. Roma's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
