MEXACOMX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to MEXACOMX getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Januário Paião hit a great ball. Bernardo Laurgain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Mexa in the 6th minute of the match. Capioviciño's Bernardo Laurgain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Mexa in the 11th minute of play. When Capioviciño's Diego Txurio in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Capioviciño's Diego Txurio in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrício Fernandes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Dimas Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dante Nalo came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Capioviciño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Nalo couldn't finish the play. Luís Alvarenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Laurgain having to make a save. When Cecilio Pere came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Capioviciño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Pere couldn't finish the play. Luís Mexa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bernardo Laurgain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Txurio kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Luís Mexa came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the MEXACOMX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Mexa couldn't finish the play. Alexandrino Junqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the match, Dante Nalo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrício Fernandes. MEXACOMX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Nalo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Alvarenga to make the kick off. Diego Txurio kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Patrício Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Txurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Luís Mexa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capioviciño's Bernardo Laurgain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Damião Sobral put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardo Laurgain. 69 minutes into the game, MEXACOMX's Damião Sobral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Laurgain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 73rd minute Diego Txurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrício Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Domingos Vilarinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MEXACOMX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capioviciño the free kick. After 80 played minutes MEXACOMX got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Vilarinho. When Cecilio Pere came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Capioviciño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Pere couldn't finish the play. MEXACOMX's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Diego Txurio scored to the left of an out of position Patrício Fernandes, making the score, 2-2. 89 minutes into the game, Capioviciño's Diego Txurio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrício Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After 92 played minutes Capioviciño got a freekick which was hit by Panos Stavrelis. Damião Sobral's late challenge caught a Capioviciño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damião Sobral helped the player get up and apologised. In the 99th match minute, MEXACOMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damião Sobral to maneuver through the defense. Diego Txurio kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 100thth minute. Though ot was a great shot MEXACOMX's keeper Patrício Fernandes was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The MEXACOMX manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Capioviciño to win.
