Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Piratas FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to MEXACOMX getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Domingos Vilarinho hit a great ball. After 11 minutes, Nunez Hernandez made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. MEXACOMX's Patrício Fernandes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Alvarenga got free with Victorino Gaufred in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th match minute, Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Maria to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred got control of the ball when Luís Alvarenga tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, MEXACOMX's Victorino Gaufred threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luís Mexa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Patrício Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nunez Hernandez's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nunez Hernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrício Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nunez Hernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. Patrício Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Lobo's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Luís Mexa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Piratas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Piratas FC:s Victorino Gaufred showed great skill when he stopped Alexandrino Junqueira:s penalty. After 35 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Lobo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damião Sobral got free with Victorino Gaufred in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Dalmai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrício Fernandes having to interfere. Victorino Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Alvarenga in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Mexa came free, but Victorino Gaufred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, MEXACOMX's Patrício Fernandes got control of the ball when Virgilio Lobo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nunez Hernandezs short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Patrício Fernandes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the final whistle went the supporters of Piratas FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant MEXACOMX side.
