After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Águila's zone, Gabriel-Omar Hrabina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Galeas came out of the goal and Gabriel-Omar Hrabina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the game, Ismael Peña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Águila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stat Veritas FC the free kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Sebastian Boni made the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Boni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stat Veritas FC's Fernan Weather got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Maura was a little too slow when Libardo Fuentes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-5. Damian Maura was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Alberto Pineda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Pineda really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Pablo Donio kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Pineda got free with Damian Maura in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Boni came free, but Camilo Galeas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
