But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Lopez couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Amado Maurin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loco De Remate's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Maurin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Luke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casimiro Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. With a little luck, Gaviotas FC's Gavino Luke got control of the ball when Amado Maurin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florencio Orlanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Luke having to interfere. A collision led to Gaviotas FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gaston Gudesteo hit a great ball. Amado Maurin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Gavino Luke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gavino Luke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Maurin in the 60th minute of play. Ildefonso Ortle hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. The Gaviotas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Loco De Remate's performance. The match ended with a win for Loco De Remate.
