After the first half Club Deportivo Águila were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomiro Oliverios made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Baldomiro Oliverios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaviotas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Oliverios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Gaviotas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Deportivo Águila's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Deportivo Águila.
