The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Jonathan Trigo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kulp's Necaettin Orgunalp didn't even have to move. The supporters of Vista Alegre FC booed when Kulp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamer Tezkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 51 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Barros. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Hortêncio Senna took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Necaettin Orgunalp to make any attempt to save it. If Hortêncio Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necaettin Orgunalp having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antônio Carlos Vander got free with Necaettin Orgunalp in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Fatih Özsen came free, but Pedrão Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrão Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genco Özol in the 79th minute of the match.
