Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amado Maurin took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Lopez got free with Pedrão Sarmento in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Amado Maurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Vista Alegre FC's Rogério Chaves seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rogério Chaves the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vista Alegre FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rogério Chaves had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jose Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ediberto Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Dolcet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio de Alcântara in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vista Alegre FC's Paulo Renato Dracena got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato Dracena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vista Alegre FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loco De Remate the free kick. Paulo Renato Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flávio Montenegro hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos França. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Paulo Renato Dracena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrão Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Orlanda, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Jonathan Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Dolcet having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Lopez during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vista Alegre FC's Jonathan Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Loco De Remate got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Tome. After a defensive mix-up in Loco De Remate's zone, Cauan Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Dolcet came out of the goal and Cauan Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
