In the 15th minute, Tzocho Terziyanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Haglund's late challenge caught a Tigers of Bistritsa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Haglund helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tigers of Bistritsa booed when FC NORDLAND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tigers of Bistritsa reached it. When Bongky Boniek came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC NORDLAND fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bongky Boniek couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Tigers of Bistritsa's goalkeeper Lyubcho Simidzhiev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bongky Boniek. After having played for 71 minutes, Bongky Boniek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC NORDLAND's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bongky Boniek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC NORDLAND's Håkan Wiklund was substituted for Wictor Alefors. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asparuh Bubov during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bandit Banks acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 97th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Subin Panicherski. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC NORDLAND fully deserved thier win.
