In the 25th match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domeka Talavera to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos's Teodor Froiz got a free kick in the 26th minute. Tirant lo Blanch's David Silva shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Celestino Villamañan but with some difficulty. Tirant lo Blanch's Mergildo Pascua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Froiz in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lionel-Andrés Messias made the kick off in the second half. Sefa Özdemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mergildo Pascua having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Clodoveo Majua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Villamañan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sánchez in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Sefa Özdemir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mergildo Pascua was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mundo Suárez kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mergildo Pascua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messias in the 69th minute of play. Mergildo Pascua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sefa Özdemir in the 79th minute of the match. Sefa Özdemirs short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Mergildo Pascua to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 88th minute, Lionel-Andrés Messias sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tirant lo Blanch's Mergildo Pascua didn't even have to move. If Clodoveo Majua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sefa Özdemir's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mergildo Pascua firmly grabbed it by the left post.
